Dudley the Wonder-Saab is the first car I've had *with* power steering. I do notice the difference, but as he's twice the size of my previous cars I'm still just as rubbish at parallel parking as I always was.

He he rain.

Great photo; and hope your car is returned to you soon. I too once drove a car without power-steering [yes, a deprived life indeed! :)] ; how did people survive before?

indeed - very clever!
lovely to see you, and Pooka too (lovely lead)
if i were more ambitious, i'd do an internet search and answer your rhetorical question. but i haven't had my morning tea. yet. perhaps I'll come back later.
and i'd miss all those things about your old car, too. especially the keyless entry (which i don't have on my car - so sometimes i make the high pitched "bo-buh" noise whenever i unlock mine so strangers nearby THINK i have keyless entry... somehow it makes me feel important).

1) it's called ski-cross and was new this time around. four skiers going over jumps, trying not to fall over
2) they don't... sometimes they go outwards and into the wall!!
3)see the wall from above... painful!!
4) you'd trust an athlete with a gun?? We don't even trust the British Shooting Squad with their guns. They have to practice in Switzerland.
5) why use paintball guns?? Ice Hockey use sticks!!
6) dance is in the summer olympics. floor gymnastics as well as all the aformentioned rhymic gymnastics.
7) you sit on a taboggan, just like a luge, jsut with a luge you're lying down for better aerodynamics.

and skipping on,

10) did you see their take on Australia getting a gold in the speed skating... after their guy won it because everyone fell over. Twice!!

The ice dancing would be more interesting if it involved martial arts between competing pairs.

I think the summer equivlaent is synchronized swimming.

Very good ideas. I will offer my support should you decide to submit your recommendations to the Olympic committee.
