I notice that somewhere down the page under my new law to be implemented regarding motorcycle riders, I referred to the blood-takers as being similar in appearance to year 10 work experience students from the local high school. This is interesting because for the last week I have had a year 10 work experience student from the local high school hanging out with me at the hospital.
This was quite fun actually – it seems that I have learned some stuff since year 10. What was also nice was that when I was taking blood from people with my new buddy in tow, I have first-time-stab success every time. This is more due to that particular group of patients having hosepipe veins than to me being splendid, but that’s ok.
In other news, we seem to have run out of rum balls. Will be rectifying that situation today probably. Although I am very busy today. Also have to make pizza and clean my room because tomorrow the air-conditioning man is coming to assess the situation and perhaps say “Hmm yes, aircon can happen in Yay’s room – no problemo!”. nb. the pizza is not related to the aircon man.
First things first = pizza. Tasty yeast-dough base, sweet potato, cherry tomatoes, roasted garlic and ham. And cheese.
