Make a small circumferential cut to the depth of 3-5mm. Prise the two halves together.
Peel off the small septa and gently rub the little jewel things off into your hand. Put into mouth and suck.
Swallowing of seeds is optional.

you can peel it like an orange. or you can make an X in the top, pull it apart, and pick out the berries & eat (i do eat the whole berries, seeds and all). another idea is to take a bite out of it, too (and just spit out the white fibrous fleshy part). be careful – the juice stains!
enjoy – let us know how it goes

Everyone knows you have to eat pomegranate with a pin.

Enjoy it. But count the seeds and consider what this will mean for how much time you spend in Hades and how much on the surface.
But seriously, the arils are great with yoghurt or by themselves. I had a pomegranate chai the other day which was interesting as well…

If you pull it apart underwater you get less of the white pith sticking around as it floats while the seeds don’t! Yum!
